STOCK PREPARATION
Machine running with virgin pulp or selected used white papers.
Stock preparation system has a two stage De Ink system using Comer floatation cells.
De Ink line supplied by Metso in 1985.

Pulper is fed by a waste paper grab hook feeding pulper conveyor.
Pulper conveyor will also take pulp bales.
Pulper batch operation with a high consistency rotor and gearbox drive.

Comer secondary/reject pulper: Comer 1995 model Epurex PS2 with pneumatic timed reject valves.
Heavy rejects pass HD cleaner with timed reject valves.
Rejects to a vibrating screen.
Coarse screening is by two screens in parallel and screen rejects go to a vibrating screen.
The secondary fine screen: Alhstrom with an Ahlstrom reject screen.
De inking is two stage Comer de ink cells.
LD cleaner system: mainly Celleco Cleanpac with Richard Berg reject stage.
De Inking washing and thickening is by two Sunds De fibrator drum thickeners.
Sludge is collected on two rectangular Flootek floatation clarifiers with the sludge being thickened by an Adritz belt press. The units have their own polymer make up units.
After washing, the pulp is thickened by vertical screw presses with brush type edge screws.
Broke system for the machine: pulper batch operation with LC operation, gearbox drive. During pulping the pulp/broke is passed through a Grubbens deflaker.
