MRK is an improved Air-Oxygen-Decarburization (AOD) converter for making Stainless Steel and Alloy Steels. It uses air & nitrogen to reduce operating costs. Converter uses a Microprocessor based Gas flow control system which increases the level of purity of the metal, while maintaining consistency of process & simultaneously reducing the gas & Ferro alloy consumption.
•         Process is highly predictable & reproducible as mixing Station is Micro Processor based with computer Station, which promotes fast de-carburization & reduction
•         High recovery of alloying elements like Cr, Mn
•         Flow measurement compensated for pressure & temperature
•         Lower gases & non-metallic inclusions
