3.5 horizontal spiral loop
Function: storing strip of a certain length to ensure the material supply when the head and
tail of strip docking.
Structure: fixed-cycle storing, feeding from outer cycle and discharging from the inner. Is

3.8 welding device
Function: Is used to align seam of formed pipe blank. After HF heating, weld it by
squeezing roll, then clean inner and outer burr.
Structure: consist of double-roll type guide roll rack, four-roll type pressing roll rack.
Features: squeezing roll is arranged as top double, side double and down single. Equipped
with roll position and pressure sensor on the electric screw-down
equipment;squeezing rack is plano-type welding rack, which is of good stiffness
and is applicable to pipe of high strength production.

HOT ROLLING PLANT - HOT STRIP MILL 1700

 The hot rolling plant consist of a slab warehouse with a section for slab
cleaning, the semi-continuous belt hot strip mill 1700 and a shop for cutting
and finishing of hot rolled coils. The hot strip mill was designed to roll strips
with thickness of 1,8 -i- 12 mm, width of 600 -i- 1530 mm, internal coil diameter
850 mm and external coil diameter 1100 -i- 1900 mm from slabs with thickness
between 150 and 220 mm, width of 620 to 1550 mm, length between 7000 and
7900 mm, weight of up to 16 tons of carbon steel of various grades - plain carbon
steel, high- and low-carbon steel.
