2.1.2 10 Tonn. PUSHER TYPE REHEATING FURNACE (ITEM 2)
Technical description
It is a trust furnace pre-fabricated pusher type, foreseen to heat steel billets.
The charge of the billets is foreseen in one row from back of the furnace.
The billets are pulled out from the furnace side by expeller machine, the billets runs
on three Electro-melted guides in the hottest final zone and on metal guides in the
charging zone.
The furnace is divided into three zones, normalization zone, heating zone and preheating
zone.
Each zone has its own temperature control.
The furnace is heated from the side and frontal walls, trough proportional burners
that use fuel oil.
The exhaust smokes are evacuated trough to the exhaust chimney.
In the underground duct is located the Recuperator foreseen to heat the Combustion
air for energy saving.
