The "mini" oil refinery as a topping plant was built in 1998
The oil refinery, designed to process Brent Crude Oil, consists of 3 atmospheric distilatoin units of (approx)
2x 1,830 bpd
1x 880-1,100 bpd.
With the current configuration, the oil refinery produced:
- Naphtha 20-25%
- Kerosene 10-12%
- Diesel 35-40%
- Black Oil 30-40%.

QUA IBOE, CAPACITY 6,000 BPD, OIL REFINERY
6,000 bpd NEW TOPPING PLANT
The oil refinery was originally designed for the Nigerian Qua Iboe crude oil for maximization of diesel output.
All units are pre-fabricated modularized and skid mounted, which makes the plant ideal for remote transportation and installation.
1. Inside Battery Limits (ISBL)
1.1 Crude Topping Unit
designed to process 6,000 bpd of Qua Iboe crude oil and produce
Naphtha
Kerosene
Diesel
Residual Fuel Oil.
1.2 Crude Oil Desalter System
The Desalter includes a horizontal vessel, water injection pumps,
desalter water cooler, DC power rectifier, instrumentation and pumping
for the oil and water. The Desalter is pre-fabricated and skid mounted.
1.3 Computer Control System
The completely configured computer control system includes the hardware
for one-operator workstations, data storage and reporting & data
print-outs. The system includes controls for the 6,000 bpd Crude Unit and
all other equipment included in the scope of work. The system allows
expansion if other units will be added.
1.4 Operational Alarm System as a part of the DCS
1.5 Operational Shutdown System in addition to the DCS
2. Outside Battery Limits (OSBL)
1.1 Instrument Air System
The weather protected Instrument Air Compressor System, including air
compressor, associated switchgear, drier, receiver, associated piping,
instrumentation, controls and an air filter is included.
The air compressor is sized to generate compressed air at a rate sufficient
for a 6,000 bpd crude unit. The discharge pressure is 9.5 atmospheres
and dew point is -40°C.

OIL REFINERY CAPCITY 20,000 BPD
The crude oil refinery was built 1987 and designed to produce diesel, kerosene, naphtha and residue with two parallel CDUs and one adjected VDU. It is complete and standing no equipment has been sold off.
Scope of Supply
• Two (2) Atmospheric distillation towers with side strippers - 10 000 bpd each
• Two (2) boiler units
• Pneumatic Controls
• The equipment is maintained in running condition. All vessels are filled with diesel.Electrical system is 60 Hz.
• All heaters and towers have ASME stamps
• Spare parts
• Laboratory equipment
• Product tanks
This is a fully operational refinery that requires relocation

REFURBISHED OIL REFINERY OF CAPACITY 54,000 BPD
The capacity of the refinery is equivalent to 2x 27,000 bpd (in total 54,000 bpd) crude oil feed.
The Oil Refinery was shut down, dismantled and entirely refurbished.
