Description and service manual
Introduction
Both the description and the service manual are intended for the structure study of the Steam-air die-forging hammer with a 16 tons driver assembly mass (D.A.M) and tracks for its installation and maintenance. The short description of the units and mechanisms structure, directions on the hammer maintenance, adjustment and operation are given in the description and the service manual.
At study of the hammer structure and its maintenance it is necessary to be guided additionally by the following set of technical documentation:
Diagrams of units and basic parts,
Certificate,
 Diagram of the subassembly labeling.
2. Description.
2.1 Purpose.
Die-forging steam hammer of 16t D.A.M is intended for hot forming of forged pieces from black and non-ferrous metals and their alloys.
