Raw Material Process
The proportionate quantity of crushed & preblended raw
materials‐lime stone, clay and additives such as iron material
are continuously dried and ground in raw mill, using the kiln
exhaust gases for drying. The ground raw meal is
homogenizer and stored in batch‐type blending ans storage
silos.
Burning Process
The controlled quantity of homogenized raw meal is conveyed
continuously to NSP kiln where it is preheated, calcined and
burned at 1450_ , using the coal as fuel. The hot clinker from
the kiln is than rapidly cooled dawn to below 100_ while
passing through the clinker cooler. The cooled clinker is
conveyed and stoned in clinker silo. The hot air generated
from the cooler is used in the burning process.
Finishing Process
The proportionate quantity of clinker and gypsum are
continuously ground in cement mill. The cement produced is
then conveyed and stored in cement silos. Blended cements
are also being produced by adding special materials, such as
blast furnace slag etc. Separate silos are provided to store the
cement by its type.
Captive Power Generator
More than 95% of required electrical power of this plant is
generated by two in house power plants, low NOx and Sox
emission, by using low cost fuels.
Centralized Control System
By using centralized control systems, the latest computer
technology and NSP kiln, this plant produce high quality
cement while realizing high productivity and high energy
efficiency with labor cost savings thereby passing significant
savings to the end user.

This plant is promoting consistent quality control of products
by implementing the quality system certification of ISO 9001.
